TED is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to discovering, debating, and spreading ideas that spark conversation, deepen understanding, and drive meaningful change. Devoted to curiosity, reason, and wonder, TED welcomes people from every discipline and culture.

Founded in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment, and Design converged, TED today spans global initiatives across science, business, education, arts, and world issues. Beyond TED Talks, the organization produces podcasts, video series, TED-Ed lessons, and global programs translated into more than 100 languages.

Thousands of independently run TEDx events unite communities worldwide. Through initiatives like The Audacious Project, Countdown, and TED Democracy, TED continues to catalyze bold action toward a more just, sustainable, and equitable future.
